What is the EID Program?
Main_Content
The EID Program, administered by the Maryland Department of Health (MDH), provides Medical Assistance (also called Medicaid) to working Marylanders with disabilities who meet a few conditions. Medical Assistance:
Covers most medical services for individuals who have no other health insurance
Saves individuals with Medicare $1,000 - $12,000 a year
Supplements private insurance, paying for some services that the other insurance does not cover
